Representing Tesuque and Zia Pueblos, Simoné Moquino is Contestant #6 in the 2025 Miss Indian New Mexico Pageant. Her fondest memories are of summers spent with her cousins and sisters, learning the ABCs and Tewa language from her grandmother, and playing in the river near their reservation. These moments taught her to see the hidden beauty of home and the deep importance of culture.

As Simoné grew older, she took on more responsibility within her Tribe and came to understand that the Native way of life is not always easy—but it is deeply rewarding. With her heart rooted in tradition, Simoné is committed to preserving her culture and passing it on to the next generation.
